Giving recognition to my exemplary work, many renowned art galleries like Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi, Chandigarh and AIFCS, New Delhi have selected my paintings to be showcased in their Annual Exhibitions. My paintings have also been exhibited by the prestigious Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. I have participated in more than fifty art workshops and shows. I was awarded the State Award by Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi, Chandigarh in 2009 , All India Cash Award by NDMC in 2014 , North India Cash Award by Bank of Punjab in 2007 & 1998 and All India Award (highly recommended) by IAFA, Amritsar in 2014 . My work has been admired at both national and international level. Many of my masterpieces related to Sikh religion and others adorn the walls of numerous private, semi government and government buildings. My paintings have been chosen for many calendars and posters including two calendars printed by Bank of Punjab.
As an Art teacher, I have been chosen as a state resource person by the Punjab School Education Department. I have adjudged many painting competitions organized by Punjab Technical University, Punjab School Education Board and other renowned educational institutions. Many students mentored by me are doing exceptionally well in the field of art.
